An unexpected duo will be collaborating in a new comedy series coming to FOX. NBA Star Stephen Curry and Will Arnett will be executive producers for an NBA-themed comedy series, The Second Half.
The sitcom takes a closer look into the life of a retired NBA star who returns home to Charlotte, buys a car wash and struggles to reconnect with his father, daughter, ex-girlfriend, and childhood best friend.
The Grinder and Workaholics writer, Sean Clements, will scrip the comedy sitcoms and become an executive producer alongside, Curry and Arnett – whom both will serve as non-writing executive producers.
The three-time NBA champion point guard for the Golden State Warriors, Curry 31, is currently rehabilitating from suffering a broken hand in late-October.
“The Second Half,” will be a co-production between Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures TV.
