This past week during Men’s London Fashion Week, Designer Xander Zhou presented his Men’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection
Black was the dominant color of the collection. The collection featured a mixture of black crop sweaters, leather jackets, and trench coats. The collection also had a feature of earth tone colors, red/blue/white jumpsuits, and blue and black denim. The accessories of choice were black leather gloves to the elbow and some models carrying messenger bags which playfully plays up to the “I’m Carrying A Secret Weapon” tag line.
We are young, but we are no longer children. We have grown up. We have come to understand ourselves. First by looking at others, because it was easier than looking at ourselves. That journey provided us with a frame of reference. it taught us about our identity in relation to others. It taught us about our position in the world. And the position of Asia in the world. We are the new generation. Xander Zhou
