The Coachella lineup was announced on Jan. 2 and it’s almost everything that fans wanted.
The Indio, California annual festival headliners are Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. It also includes expected performances from Calvin Harris, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Lana Del Rey and several more.
Before the lineup was released, there was already a leaked photo of the lineup surfacing social media. Fans were excited to learn that Frank Ocean was a headliner and many were ready to cop the tickets before they actually went on sale. Since the Camp Flog Gnaw incident, when the crowd thought Frank Ocean was going to be the special guests, everyone has been hoping he would be at a festival, and luckily their wish came true.
The lineup is filled with a mixture of genres from hip hop, EDM, and K-Pop for everyone to enjoy. It’s definitely a moment for everyone to come together with different taste in music and enjoy the festival.
Coachella seems to always give the fans what they want and are interested in. The 2019 headliners were Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande. It included performances from Kid Cudi, Bad Bunny, Anderson .Paak, Weezer and more.
The passes for weekend 1 were sold out the same day and presale for weekend 2 was on Monday Jan. 6, but are also sold out. There’s still a chance to experience the famous concert by signing up for the waitlist on Coachella’s website. The full lineup can also be found on the website.
