The 2020 year will be reminding many R&B fans just how fun the early 2000s were with a Face Off between Omarion and Bow Wow at the Millennium Tour.
On Nov. 26, Omarion took to Instagram to announce the big tour that will include the Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, Pretty Ricky, and Soulja Boy. Each of these artists impacted the early 2000’s with hit songs and continues to be a favorite for most millennials.
Pretty Ricky and The Ying Yang Twins joined the last Millennium Tour that ran from March to May in 2019. However, the concert did include the B2K members, but this time around the members will be sitting out.
According to The Source, Raz told Shaderoom that he was happy for the tour to be continuing with some of the same artists. Raz said, “Congratulations to the fellas of Round 2. Omarion is my brother and he deserves the world.”
The other members haven’t specifically responded to the announcement, but with the clash between Lil Fizz and Omarion, many believe this could be a reason why B2K isn’t performing again.
No matter what the show will go on and the audience will still get a show filled with classics. Bow Wow and Omarion created well-known songs such as “Let Me Hold You” and their 2007 album The Face-Off that included songs like “Hey Baby (Jump Off)” and “Girlfriend.” As for Lloyd with the famous songs “You” and “Get It Shawty.” Not to mention, audiences will most likely get to see Soulja Boy performing “Crank That” and “Kiss Me Thru the Phone.”
The tour dates will be announced Dec. 2 and pre-sale begins at 10 A.M. local time on Monday, Dec. 5.
