I’m pretty sure we can all agree that craving a meal you can’t suffice during the wee hours of the morning is the worst feeling ever. Whether you’re begging your cab driver to stop at a local drive thru after a long night of turning up at the function to satisfy your munchies, you just don’t feel like getting out of bed because you live quite a distance from the midnight snack of your desire or you don’t have a car, just the thought of leaving your taste buds unfulfilled for the night seems like the world is coming to an end. In this case, hitching a ride through Lyft might be your best bet. Lyft users now have the option to bump their rides up to a whole nother level!
Taco, please! Request it and you’ve got it.
Lyft has now incorporated pit stops at Taco Bell into their late night rides. The two companies have created a joint business venture that allows riders to satisfy their cravings using an in-app option called “Taco Mode” between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. Lyft is full fledged with their partnership too, customizing their vehicles to sport taco-themed cars, offering a custom in-car menu, and a free Doritos Loco taco.
“Taco Mode” rides are currently being tested in Orange County, but don’t worry. It is set to hit off in additional cities later this year and will become a worldwide offer during all late night Lyft rides in 2018.
