Sometimes it’s easy to forget that summer stretches its way into September. Don’t let the color changing leaves make you think there isn’t a ton of events and activities to do just in time for fall! Here are ways to help you make the most of the beautiful month of September.
Attend A Street Festival
If you’re into great food, live music and vintage shopping, you might want to consider attending a street festival before the cold weather hits. NYC is home to some of the best street festivals, including Atlantic Antic in Brooklyn. It’s the largest festival in the city, with dozens of food vendors, breweries, artisan shops and performers.
Visit A Vineyard
Vineyards are a great place to visit in the month of September. Wine lovers head over to places like Napa Valley, California where people can experience wine creation, watch balloon floats or enjoy a ride on the Napa Valley Wine Train.
Oktoberfest is the worlds largest folk festival, and ironically celebrated all throughout September. Held annually in Munich, Germany, Oktoberfest celebrations can be found all around the U.S. Click here for the best cities to celebrate Oktoberfest.
September is a great month to continue having a good time. Be sure to enjoy the rest of the nice weather while we still have it, and make some lasting memories at the same time!
